My husband and I went to Carvers for Valentines day and while I found the restaurant nice and romantic, the food was very disappointing. We had the filet and lobster for dinner. The filet was tough and had no flavor. I even had to put a little salt on it! The lobster was fine and the potatoes were good. Salad was not that great and they wouldn't let you choose your dressing, weird. Cocktails were good and strong. I had a giftcard that was from the old company (Paragon?)and they gave me a bankruptcy form to fill out since they don't accept those cards! What a joke! I can make better steak at home.

This is one of the best romantic spots is Roseville. It is a bit expensive and I recommend that you make a reservation in advance. You can make a reservation the same day so call ahead to avoid waiting. The food and service was excellent. I recommend the Stuffed Mushroom appetizer.

A group of friends went for lunch today and when they complained about one of the meals the manager not only refused to correct the problem but he was rude as well.

The food at dinner was excellent and served exactly as requested. Service was excellent, we never asked for anything, they always anticipated our needs. The ambiance is pleasant and elegant. I was only disappointed that some patrons showed up in tennis shoes and jeans.

This is one of our favorite places to have a good steak. I really enjoy dining there late, when its less busy and a little more quiet. But even in the middle of the dinner rush, I've still been satisfied with the service and meal. We love the good old-fashioned service that most other restaurants now lack!
