Best ever service and food. Dont need to order two meals for two one is usually plenty very large portions. And always great tasting.

Holy Moly Portions!

Goodness, every dish was FULL and well worth the price and taste. They didn't skimp out on their food on anything! I was with about a groupd of 5 very hungry people and we ordered "Appetizer Combo" with... Artichoke, Buffalo Wings, Zucchini, Mozzarella Sticks, Parmesan Garlic Rings, Loaded Skins, Cheese Potatocake & Southwest Eggroll. And oh boy, we were already stuffed from that...but I think we managed to get a bit of our entrees. It was all delicious and great service. Definitely have to bring lots of dog baggies home and of course an order of dessert in the morning to top the meal off.

Reservations-waste time. Food good.

I agree with the other review. We had a reservation made for a group of 10+ girls on a Thursday night and when we got there early we still had to wait for our table. I figured we could have just showed up and waited. I felt it was kind of a waste of time. The food, on the other hand, is almost always great. I haven't had anything yet that I didn't like and I have been to other Claim Jumpers (outside Sacramento) before and it has always remained the same. I think at almost any restaurant you never know how the food will turn out on any given day. But so far my experience there has always been a good one!

on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 6.5

called in ahead of time, was on time & still waited 30 minutes. Steak overdone, steak knife dull, butter knife did a better job. Vegetables were badly done. Asparagus, pencil size mixed with 2-inch thumb sized-burned, & not cooked. Water was not refilled. Dinner was half done before wine arrived. No one came around to ask anything about needing anything else. This was a Thursday evening @ about 7 pm. Bad, Bad Bad. Will never go there again.

Claim Jumpers yum, but not romantic

Claim Jumpers does have great food, make sure you have a reservation. Or call ahead an put your name on the list. But seriously, I think Claim Jumpers is the most un-romantic restaurant ever. I so laughed when I saw it listed in "Romantic Restaurants" catagory. It is loud, busy, and is not the atmosphere for lovebirds looking for a cozy evening.
