Great productions have been reported to me. I saw a fundraiser with an comedy group from Hollywood. I can't remember their name, but they were really entertaining and funny. They did skits and situations that the audience could easily relate too. The group, Delphi Academy, who did the fundraiser got and excellent deal on the theater. I believe the it was such a good deal because it was still winter when they booked the show. Being an outdoors theater, the place was available. The performance was so good and the acoustics so good that the cold air didn't bother me or my friends.

Great productions for the whole family! Nice setting near a park, so its great for children. The theatre carries many child oriented plays and musicals. Also, there is an annual shakespeare festival for the adults. This theatre is definately a fun family outing and is located the adorable downtown fair oaks setting.

The Fair Oaks Theatre Festival is an annual production which is located in the ampitheatre in Fair Oaks Park in the Fair Oaks Village. The productions are generally directed by and put on by American River College. The shows are probably the most extravagant productions that ARC puts on each year, and they always receive rave reviews. There is usually one or two adult shows that run in the evenings and a children's show that runs earlier in the day. The actors are superb, and the shows are very often nominated for Elly awards for the acting as well as costuming and production.

Including the roosters.. I have been a fan of Fair Oaks Theatre productions since I worked with American River College's Theater Program. The shows are a great economic value, with discounts for large groups and also for SARTA members. The productions are very professional with very talented actors that work the shows. It is a perfect date spot underneath the stars but also it can be a perfect family spot so kids can be exposed to theatre.
