Best Obstetrician/ Gynecologist Please be advised that all the comments on this site are in error. Dr. Leon does not practice at this address. Her address is 151 N. Sunrise Ave. Ste1009, Roseville, Ca 95661. Her phone number is 916 782 3792. The physician at 729 Sunrise Ave. Suite 800 is an excellent physician and is still practicing obstetrics. Please make sure that you distinguish the fact that these are two different practices with the same practice name. They are not affiliated. A very happy patient and well cared for.....

Facility is filthy and staff is especially unfriendly. Dr. Leon conducted a wild goose chase, without ever reaching a conclusion, while charging our insurance double for each visit. She conducted a battery of unnecessary (and expensive) testing, and charged for each visit to find out the results. Not helpful over the phone, and downright rude if you ever have a question about billing. We would not recommend A Woman's Place in Roseville to anyone.

Although she has recently retired from Obstetrics, she is still practicing Gynecology and is by far the best doctor I've ever been to on such matters. She does not dismiss anything and pays very close attention to every detail. She birthed my first two children, and my mothers last two children as well. She is an experienced doctor that has literally saved a few of her clients lives. There is a tribute to her at the Sutter Roseville Medical Hospital on N. Sunrise Blvd. for responding to an immediate emergency with one of her clients where the usual outcome was to save either the mother or the child...however Dr. Leon successfully saved both! If you are looking for a Gynecologist in Roseville, or even in Northern California, Dr. Margarita Leon at A Woman's Place is my highest recommendation!
